Ocala, FL: 16′ x 12′ Motorized Retractable Awning
The Project
Our work centers on Northeast Florida, and we travel for the right project. This Ocala home needed serious overhead shade, so we installed a large 16-foot by 12-foot motorized retractable awning to cover the patio.
At this size, a motorized awning turns an exposed slab into a genuine outdoor room. Extend it and you get a deep shaded footprint for dining and lounging through the hottest part of the day. Retract it and the patio opens back up to full sky. The motor does all the work, and features like adjustable pitch let the awning shed rain and angle against a low sun, while an optional wind sensor protects it from gusts. It’s the same standard of awning we install across Northeast Florida, sized up for a big opening.
