Motorized Retractable Awning, Custom Roof-Bracket Mount

Not every home gives you a clean wall to mount an awning on. This Fruit Cove home had the patio and the need for shade, but the wall space above the covered area wasn’t there to carry a standard motorized awning the way most installs rely on.

Rather than force a compromise, we engineered a custom roof-bracket mount. We fabricated brackets that tie the awning back to the roof structure, carrying the load off the roofline instead of the wall. That let us hang a full motorized retractable awning over the patio with the projection and coverage the homeowner wanted, cleanly and securely.

This is the kind of problem a stock, one-size install can’t solve. Getting the mount right on a tricky elevation is where experience matters most: the bracket has to be strong enough for Florida wind loads, sit flush with the home’s lines, and keep water where it belongs. The result is an awning that opens and closes at the push of a button and looks like it was always meant to be there.
